American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing

Founded in 1934, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is a scientific association serving over 7,000 professional members around the world. Our mission is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences to promote the responsible applications of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and supporting technologies.


Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors

The Management Association for Private Photogrammetric Surveyors (MAPPS) is the only national association of firms in the surveying, spatial data and geographic information systems field in the United States. MAPPS member firms are engaged in surveying, photogrammetry, satellite and airborne remote sensing, aerial photography, hydrography, aerial and satellite image processing, GPS and GIS data collection and conversion services. Our associate members include firms that provide products and services to our member firms, as well as other firms worldwide.


Texas Society of Professional Surveyors

The Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS), with a membership of more than 2,300 registered surveyors, surveyors-in-training, students and associates, seeks to educate and inform the public of the integral role of surveyors in our society.

TSPS members enjoy a powerful competitive edge and gain access to big-money benefits. Self improvement is available through basic and advanced training courses offered at convenient regional seminars, the annual Spring Symposium and the TSPS Convention & Technology Exposition. TSPS certification provides a standard for judging prospective employees, and legislative action and liaison efforts with the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying and the Texas General Land Office protects and strengthens the profession.


Texas Association of Appraisal Districts

The Texas Association of Appraisal Districts, Inc. (TAAD) is a statewide, voluntary non-profit organization incorporated and organized to promote the effective and efficient functioning and administration of appraisal districts in Texas.

TAAD provides its members and the general public with access to information about the state's 254 appraisal districts, legislative and property tax news, and up to date opportunities in education, training and professional development.
