Founded in 1934, the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ASPRS) is a scientific association serving over 7,000 professional members around the world. Our mission is to advance knowledge and improve understanding of mapping sciences to promote the responsible applications of photogrammetry, remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and supporting technologies.

SCAUG

South Central Arc User Group

SCAUG is the South Central Arc User Group, an organization dedicated to the benefit of users of ESRI’s Geographic Information System (GIS) software in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Mississippi. Since 1990, the South Central Arc User Group (SCAUG) has provided resources and tools for Geographic Information Systems (GIS) users and members. SCAUG connects you to a community of knowledgeable professionals in a growing industry.

TSPS

Texas Society of Professional Surveyors

The Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS), with a membership of more than 2,300 registered surveyors, surveyors-in-training, students and associates, seeks to educate and inform the public of the integral role of surveyors in our society.

TSPS members enjoy a powerful competitive edge and gain access to big-money benefits. Self improvement is available through basic and advanced training courses offered at convenient regional seminars, the annual Spring Symposium and the TSPS Convention & Technology Exposition. TSPS certification provides a standard for judging prospective employees, and legislative action and liaison efforts with the Texas Board of Professional Land Surveying and the Texas General Land Office protects and strengthens the profession.
